On 22-23 September 2026, partners in the Nordplus project Digital Transformation and Leadership in Schools met at the University of Iceland (Háskóli Íslands) in Reykjavik for a two-day workshop. It was the second in a series. The aim was to move from imagining possible futures to thinking concretely about what school leaders can do now.

The second workshop of our Digital Transformation and Leadership in Schools project brought participants together for the first time in person — and what a gathering it was. Set against the crisp winter backdrop of Umeå University in northern Sweden, school leaders from Iceland, Sweden, and Norway spent two intensive and inspiring days exploring how their schools can not only respond to digital change, but actively shape their own digital futures.
