FIP is a collaboration between the US Fulbright Specialist program, the National Center for English and Foreign Languages in Education (Fremmedspråksenter) and English teachers in primary school.
Project Goal
Expand the capacity of Fremmedspråksenter to support English Language Learning in Norway’s Elementary Schools, grades 1-4.
The research purpose is to engage in a process to design models for professional development for English teachers in Norwegian primary schools in which teachers' input and decisions are central.
Project outcomes include expanding Fremmedspråksenter’s expertise in early elementary English teaching, developing models for professional development related to teaching English in elementary classrooms, and expanding Fremmedspråksentere’s outreach to elementary schools in Norway.

May 2025 – January 2027.
