If there is an immediate threat to life or health, you must always contact the emergency services first. Brann 110 | Politi 112 | Ambulanse 113

HiØ’s emergency and security phone is a 24/7 service that receives and handles inquiries from across the university college, 365 days a year.

You can call HiØ’s emergency and security phone when:

• You want to notify the university college that a serious incident has occurred.

• You are in a situation that threatens your own and/or others’ safety and need security guard assistance.

• You experience or witness a serious incident and are unsure of what to do.

What happens when you call HiØ’s emergency and security phone:

• You will hear a recorded message informing you that you have reached the emergency and security line, and that the call will be recorded.

• An operator will ask questions to assess your situation and decide on appropriate actions. You will receive advice and guidance on what you can do yourself and what assistance can be provided.

• All calls are recorded in accordance with privacy legislation and the data processing agreement between Securitas and HiØ.

It is important to remember that the time between calling the emergency phone, and the arrival of security personnel may vary depending on circumstances. Therefore, you must always call the emergency services first if there is a need for immediate assistance where life or health is at risk.
