Candidates have basic knowledge of written Norwegian.

SKILLS:
Candidates are able to read and write basic Norwegian texts.

GENERAL COMPETENCE:
Candidates have general knowledge of the Norwegian society.

Undervisnings- og læringsformer

40 h language instruction.
The language of instruction is English and Norwegian.

Arbeidsomfang

The course will give the student approximately 210 hours of work.

Arbeidskrav - vilkår for å avlegge eksamen

A short essay must be submitted during the semester.

The coursework must be approved before signing up for the final exam.

Eksamen

A 4-hour written individual examination.

Aids allowed: Mother tongue - English - mother tongue dictionary.

Grades are awarded according to a graded scale from A (highest) to F (lowest), with E as the minimum pass grade.

Evaluering av emnet

Student evaluation of teaching will be carried out in the middle and at the end of the semester.
