Person-centred healthcare and the digital society are key to developing the health services of the future within the municipal and specialist health sectors.

The AKS research group aims to plan, to initiate, to conduct and to disseminate clinical research with emphasis on the treatment and care of acute, critically ill and traumatized patients as well as surgical patients- patients receiving medical and surgical treatment and care.

Forskningsgruppen initierer, gjennomfører og formidler klinisk forskning med fokus på ivaretagelse og behandling av akutt, kritisk skadde pasienter, samt operasjonspasienter- det vil si pasienter under medisinsk og kirurgisk behandling og omsorg. Hovedandelen av forskerne er/har erfaring med akutt-, anestesi-, intensiv-, operasjon- eller barnesykepleie.
